A Book Review: The Old Man and The Sea

I just finished read a book titled The Old Man and The Sea. The author of this book is Ernest Hemingway and it's one of his famous books. For me, this book is great because Ernest Hemingway made such a good detailed story line. It's so easy for readers to understand and imagine it. The way he built the story is structured. There are beginning, pre-climax, climax and ending.

The Old Man and The Sea tells about an old man who wanted to sail into the sea and catch a big fish. It also tells how he prepared for the journey, how he struggled in the middle of the sea and of course when he was trying to catch the fish then went back to the land. It's really exciting read this old man's adventure.

There are also some lessons we can take from reading this book, like we have to keep trying despite the situation is bad, then we have to keep optimist when facing a problem, also be patient. But the most important is don't ever give up in life. Whenever you are at the bottom of your life, just remember this "Defeat is a state of mind. No one is ever defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality." - Bruce Lee.

In conclusion, you should read this book, at least once in your life. Not only the story is good, but because the lessons we can take from it.
